About Bente Grysbaek
With 28 years of experience in the culinary world, Bente has established herself as one of the leading chefs and fire chefs in Australia. She is passionate about local and sustainable produce and has worked alongside some amazing international chefs throughout her career.
Renowned for her innovative approach to cooking, Bente has, since 2018, stepped out of the commercial kitchen and into the Australian landscape where she creates memorable and mesmerizing events. Her theatrical and creative kitchen set-up is the perfect backdrop to any wedding, private or corporate event. Furthermore, she creates extraordinary collaborations with wineries and producers.
She was the subject of award-winning short film “Burnt” and a number of TV programs including Danish Masterchef and Food Safari on SBS. She has also been featured in numerous print and online articles such as National Geographic article “Playing with fire: seven chefs harnessing the power of open flames” and she is often featured in celebrity chefs line up at food festivals such as Taste Port Douglas and Dark Mofo in Hobart, Tasmania.
